1. Plug appliance into a standard electrical outlet.

2. The digital clock display flashes 12:00 A.M.

3. To set the time: Press the HOUR button until the correct time appears on display. The small dot in the top left corner of the digital display indicates P.M.

4. Press the MIN button to select minutes.

Note: If the unit is unplugged or power is interrupted even momentarily, the time will need to be reset.

Step3. Brewing coffee

1. Open the one-piece cover.

2. Fill the water reservoir with cold tap water.

3. Use lines on side of the reservoir as a guide.

Do not fill with more than 12 cups of water.

Note: Coffee may overflow if the brew-thru lid is not properly aligned.

10. Press the ON/OFF button (indicator light to the left of the HOUR button will illuminate) and brewing begins.

The “Keep Hot” carafe plate will keep the coffee warm for two hours or until the ON/Off button is pressed.

11. When coffee grounds are cool, carefully remove and discard used grounds and filter.

12. To turn off the coffeemaker at any time press the ON/OFF button (indicator light to the left of the HOUR button will turn off).

13. Unplug appliance when not in use.

Remove the carafe and brewing is paused. The carafe must be placed back on the carafe plate in 30 seconds to prevent overflow. Brewing begins again.

Step5. Set auto brew time

1. Press the PROG button. The AUTO light (small dot in the bottom left corner of the digital display) flashes several times. Digital clock displays 12:00.

2. Quickly press the HOUR button then the MIN button to select the time you would like automatic brewing to begin (for example, 7:15 A.M. Make sure the P.M. light is not on.)

3. Press the AUTO button, holding it down until the AUTO light stops flashing. The digital display changes to the time of day.

4. To check preset auto time:

3. Place the filled permanent filter and filter basket into the coffee maker as instructed in steps 2 and 3 in Brewing Coffee with Loose Coffee Grounds. Close the cover.

4. Place the thermal travel mug with the lid securely in place on the mug rest directly under the filter basket opening.

5. Press the Start switch; the power indicator light illuminates. The coffeemaker and power indicator light turn off automatically when brewing is finished.

6. Allow the coffee to finish dripping from the unit before removing your travel mug.

Note: If the Start switch is on even if is pressed before plugging the cord and the indicator light illuminates as soon as the cord is plugged in.

1. Be sure the coffeemaker is off and cooled.

2. Open the cover.

3. remove the permanent filter and filter basket (lift straight up) and discard the grounds or soft pods.

4. Clean as follows: filter basket, permanent filter, thermal traveler mug, and mug lid are all top rack

dishwasher-safe; or they may be hand-washed in warm, soapy water.

5. The coffeemaker’s exterior may be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.

6. To clean inside of cover:

open the cover allowing it to rest in the open position.
